# The trade workspace

> Every ladder is its own window, and the topbar tracks the day.

## A window per market

**Every ladder opens in its own OS window**, up to 32 at once. Trade there, drag
it to any monitor, and set the window size in Settings, Ladder.

  The first market you open may need pop-ups allowed for the site. The app says so
  when the browser blocks one, rather than failing quietly.

## Tabs

The trade view names every open market as *game, market*, live dot included. The
strip scrolls with the mouse wheel, the chevron reorders, and each tab's close
button closes that ladder. Your open tabs survive a refresh.

## The topbar

It tracks the day as it happens:

| Figure                 | What it counts                         |
| ---------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| **P\&L today**         | realized, net of fees                  |
| **Fees today**         | what the venue actually charged        |
| **Volume today**       | matched notional                       |
| **Total exposure**     | money on matched positions             |
| **Working exposure**   | cash held against orders still working |
| **Cash and portfolio** | what is free, and what it is all worth |

Click either exposure figure to open the markets behind it. Hover any figure for
the breakdown in plain language.

<Note>
  There are no bulk buttons above the ladders. A position closes from its own
  ladder, where you can see the price it is closing at, and the **Traded** view on
  the board lists every game you have traded.
