Tickside is a trading interface for prediction markets. It shows the complete
order book in a ladder, lets you place and cancel orders, follows fills and
shows P&L from the same window.
Your Tickside account is your Privy account. Polymarket and Hyperliquid are
separate venues connected to that identity. Each venue keeps its own balance,
positions, orders and active account.
Your first session

Connect
Select Connect and continue with Google or a supported wallet through
Privy. This creates or restores your main Tickside account.

Start in paper mode
Open Settings, then Paper trading. Paper mode uses live prices with
simulated money.

Choose a market
Choose Polymarket or Hyperliquid, search for an event, then open a market.

Place an order
Choose a stake and select a BACK or LAY cell. Start with a small simulated
order while learning the ladder.

Close the position
Select HEDGE to close at the available market prices, or select a value
in the P&L column to close at that specific price.
Four ideas to understand
BACK
Trade for the outcome to happen.
LAY
Trade for the outcome not to happen.
Maker
Place an order at a price that is not available yet and wait.
Taker
Accept a price already available in the book and trade immediately.
