What tickside charges

Nothing. No subscription, no seat licence, no software fee, on any order, maker or taker. There is no volume tier because there is no fee to tier.

What the venue charges

The venue’s own fees still apply, and they are not ours to waive.

Makers pay nothing

An order that rests and is filled later pays no fee at all. Clicking away from the market’s price is what makes an order a maker order.

Takers pay on the way in

An order that crosses the spread and fills immediately pays the venue’s taker fee. Clicking into the price is what makes it one.
The taker fee is not a flat percentage of your stake. It follows the price:
which is largest in the middle of the book and smallest at the extremes. A coin-flip market costs the most to cross, a near-certain one the least.
Where the venue reports what it actually charged on a fill, that is the number we use rather than the formula. The formula is the fallback until the real figure arrives.

Where you see it

Fees are already inside every P&L figure on the desk. See net vs gross for what that means, and why our number differs from the venue’s own site.
